"Goat Takes One In The Noggin."

Last night just two days before his birthday, Goatis T. Ovenrude suffered a what could have been a fatal head wound when he was shot square in the melon by Old Man Johnson at Johnson's General Store in an alchohol induced case of mistaken identity. Luckily the bullet passed harmlessly through his skull missing anything of vital importance. The doc says he'll be back on his feet in plenty of time for next week's tour.

KILLER'S NEW KILLBILLIES' GROUP

Seems our friend Killer has started up a new Killbillies' group. It seems to work a lot better than our cheesey talkin' board. Only thing is ya gotta sign up to MYSPACE to get in. But we thinks the hot chicks jes' may be worth yer trouble.

Colossal Abe Strikes Again

The mysterious beast (which locals have dubbed Colossal Abe on account of its striking resemblance to our 16th president) rampaged through the parking lot of the Killville Inn last night destroying 7 vehicles. Police followed his giant footprints hoping to finally capture or kill the gargantuan pest. Unfortunately the tracks ended at the Connecticut River.
This photo, snapped by newspaper delivery man Oliver Basset marks the first time the monster has been caught on film. " I guess we can't be blaming this carnage on doped up high school kids no more." stated Sheriff Big Dick Turner, "We got a bigger problem now." Asked how he planned to deal with the fifty foot monster Turner added,"We got us an old howitzer from the armory. Once we find where that colossal bastard is hold up we're gonna go John Wilkes Booth on his ass."

THE KILLVILLE HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF THE STRANGE GOES ON THE ROAD

The Killville Historical Museum Of The Strange is heading for the City of Brotherly Love this October. From October 13th through October 31st many of Killville's oddities will be part of "Morgan Grisly's Magnificent Museum of Morbid Monstrosities" at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences. It seems that main-stream science is finally starting to recognize what we at the Museum of the Strange have known all along. Now is your chance to see them all, up close and in person. See the "Killville Giant", "Stinky The Pond Monster", "The Berkshire Mountain Monkey" and more. Are they God's mistakes? The Devil's practical jokes? You be the judge.

TALES FROM THE ROAD

Last weekend the Killbillies headed out to the Cape for a couple shows. Friday night they played the Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet where they brought the rock...but no camera. They also enjoyed some excellent sea bass and many PBRs. After the show, they retired to a secret Lodge in the Cape Cod woods for some High Life and Smokey Treats....

Angry finished the last beer from the cooler and the Killbillies settled down for a much needed nap.....


Morning found them with an entire day to kill so they argued a bit about the merits of fresh brewed vs. instant coffee (of which they possessed neither) and Goatis turned a funny shade of pink from sitting in the sun too long. It was about then that they remembered that the starter had grenaded in the Crankyville Trolley the night before. Angry crawled under and installed the spare starter and they were on their way down the road for a delicious nutritious convenience store breakfast....Their bellies full and only another ten or so hours left to kill they headed for the country club to work off the eggs and sausage with a spirited game of putt-putt. (Angry kicked ass)....





...the tournament over, they headed up to a Provincetown pirate bar for more PBRs and High Lifes to watch the Red Sox/Yankees game. Unfortunately the Red Sox lost and the Cheating Bastard Sons of Bitches Yankees won. To add insult to injury, the pirate bar ran out of both PBRs and High Lifes so the Killbillies were reduced to drinking Rolling Rock and Bud....

...then they played some shells....

...met the Lobster Man....


...ate some hot dogs and clam rolls at the Burger Queen....


....and had more High Lifes and more Smokey Treats at the Sqealing Pig....


...Twitch hob-knobbed with the locals...

...the Killbillies had some more High Lifes...

Finally it was show time....

...Jimmy did the Rat Fink dance...


...and the Killbillies, once again brought the rock....
